ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee accounting, financial operations, and regulatory compliance in our Shanghai office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in China and Hong Kong tax regulations, hands-on experience in trade finance, and a proven ability to manage banking relationships. This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy, strategic planning, and risk mitigation in a fast-paced trading environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.

• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.

• Monitor financial risks related to trading activities and propose mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to China and Hong Kong tax laws (VAT, CIT, etc.).

• Liaise with tax advisors and authorities to optimize compliance and planning.

• Provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

• Manage letters of credit, bank guarantees, and import/export documentation.

• Negotiate terms with banks and maintain strong relationships for favorable credit facilities.

• Lead external audits for China entities and support audits for Hong Kong entities.

• Maintain robust documentation for audit trails and regulatory requirements.

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling aligned with company goals.
