Job Description:
1.Course Teaching and Planning: In accordance with the A-level Chemistry syllabi (such as CAIE, Edexcel, etc.), design and implement a curriculum system that conforms to international educational standards. Employ diverse teaching approaches, such as inquiry-based and project-based methods, to assist students in comprehending chemical principles and mastering experimental skills. Incorporate cross-cultural teaching elements to expand students' international horizons.
2.Student Guidance and Tutoring: Focus on individual differences among students, offer individualized learning guidance, conduct regular academic evaluations and provide feedback, assist students in formulating study plans, and enhance their academic achievements and comprehensive qualities in chemistry. Conduct after-class Q&A sessions to address students' learning difficulties and cultivate their abilities of independent thinking and problem-solving.
3.Experimental Teaching and Safety Management: Organize chemistry experiment courses for students, instruct them in the standard operation of experimental apparatuses, and foster their capabilities in experimental design, observation, and analysis. Strictly abide by laboratory safety regulations and undertake safety management tasks to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of students' experiments.
4.Teaching and Research and Curriculum Optimization: Participate in teaching and research activities of the discipline group, jointly discuss A-level Chemistry teaching methods and strategies with teachers at home and abroad, and share teaching experiences. Regularly assess and optimize teaching contents and methods, keep abreast of the cutting-edge developments in the discipline, update teaching resources, and maintain the advancement and applicability of the curriculum.
5.Student Communication and Home-School Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with students, understand their learning and psychological conditions, and provide timely encouragement and support. Regularly communicate with parents regarding students' learning situations, provide feedback on their performances at school, and jointly facilitate students' growth and development.
6.Admission Guidance and Competition Tutoring: Offer university application guidance related to the Chemistry discipline for students with admission needs, analyze the requirements for Chemistry grades by different universities and majors. Organize and guide students to participate in international Chemistry competitions (such as UKChO, ASOC, etc.) to enhance their disciplinary competitiveness and international recognition.
